My name is Conor Meersman. I am currently a sophomore at Colorado State University, even though it is only my first year in the landscape architecture study. I got pointed in this direction by my counselor at the end of last semester. I was previously in graphic design, but got turned on to the architecture part after spotting layouts and plans in the university library. Since it's the beginning of the year, I can't claim to have lots of experience, but high school also educated me and helped me put in the direction as well. One day I wish to owe my landscaping businesses, dealing with the design and overall creation of the area. I look up to Zak George for the most part. Since he is a local and even work at my current employer, I get to be around the proper enviroment and have even talked with him a bit.
I have a passion for order and making spaces look organized and clean, so as I progess further into my studies, I will stick to my gut and make sure to keep my spaces and drawings clean.
Also having such strong peers, and so many smiling faces around me, I know that I can be confident with my designs and have lots of great feedback. Already, even though we are only a week into class, I have found that everyone in the class has high spirits and is more than willing to help me improve myself.
I know that I will fit in a be great in the study.
